Every year, about 60 DPhil students start a life changing experience in the Nuffield Department of Medicine in Oxford.
Sophie Andrews, from the United Kingdom, joined the University of Oxford in 2012 after studying Molecular Cell Biology at the University of York. Sophie is affiliated with St Edmund Hall and works on adaptive immune evasion in clinically latent HIV-1 and HIV-2 infection under the supervision of Professor Sarah Rowland-Jones and Professor Tao Dong.
